Assembly technician with experience (€550net/week), in Netherlands

Our trusted agency partner is looking for experienced assembly technicians to join their team in Rijssen, the Netherlands!

Their Client, Voortman Steel Machinery has been designing and developing CNC-controlled machines and solutions for the steel fabrication and manufacturing industry for 50 years. With more than 250 dedicated employees, they are continuously developing while providing an optimal experience in order to meet their clients’ needs in the best possible way.

In this role, your daily tasks include:

• Being responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining mechanical and electronical components;
• Working by reading and intrerpreting technical drawings;
• Following detailed instructions that outline the assembly process, including specifications, tolerances, and tools required;
• Ensuring that all tools and equipments are calibrated and in proper working order before starting the assembly process;
• Inspecting parts and assemblies for defects or deviations from specifications;
• Working closely with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors to coordinate tasks and address any issues that arise during assembly;
• Full compliance with safety protocols.

The agency provides:

• Weekly net salary starting from 550€, depending on the experience, always paid on time (already includes deductions for accommodation and medical insurance);
• 40 hours/week, with the possibility of overtime;
• Dutch contract;
• All social guarantees;
• Company car or bike provided;
• Accommodation in a single room in well-equipped shared houses; 
• A friendly environment and initial training will be provided.

Requirements:

• A CV in English is required to apply for this position;
• At least two years of proven experience as an assembly technician is mandatory;
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of mechanical, electricial processes are mandatory;
• Ability to read and intrepret technical drawings;
• Relevant experience in hydraulics and pneumatics is a big plus;
• Completed education an MBO level 3 or 4 level in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering is a big plus;
• Ability to work independently and as a team player;
• Ready to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Availability to stay in the Netherlands long-term.

Travel allowance: € 0,23/km (in case of driving own car)
