Warehouse worker (with VOG), in Netherlands

Action is the fastest-growing non-food discounter in Europe, offering 14 million customers an ever-changing variety of 6,000 products in 2,300 stores every week. All the variety that you can find in Action shops is there- small furniture, hobby accessories, pet food, sweets, cosmetics, toys etc.

Our partner is currently looking for order pickers to join their team!

As an order picker, you will be responsible for the following:

• Collecting products using voice assistant and EPT;
• Sealing and loading trolleys on lorries;
• Receiving the collection orders;
• Ensuring that orders are correctly picked and ready on time;
• Maintaining a neat and organized workplace.

The starting salary is €15,10 gross per hour (€13.94 base salary plus 8.33% holiday allowance).

You will be scheduled 5 days in the working week – a working week is from Monday till Saturday. It means that you can have one day off in the middle of the week instead of Saturday.

You will work on two shifts from 6:00 till 15:00 and from 15:00 till 24:00. Sometimes, depending on workload, be time of work changes, but this is like a one-time situation. In high season is possible to make over hours. There are two breaks 30 min, 1 h in total. The employee is choosing when to go, but must be 2 hours after the start of work and the second latest 2 hours before the end of work.

At the workplace, you will have a canteen where you can buy tasty and warm meals. When working a late shift, a meal is free for every team member.

There are no special requirements regarding clothing (shorts and sweat pants, leggings are allowed) – you will receive safety shoes from the agency and a safety vest from Action.

Currently, we have only biking locations:

• Echt – 4 km: you will receive a regular bike;
• Maaseik – 13 km – you will receive an electric bike;
• Born – 14 km: you will receive an electric bike.

Requirements:

• A CV in English is required to apply for this position;
• VOG (Criminal Record Document) is a must;
• Ready to drive EPT and work voice picking;
• Minimum height of 165 cm;
• Flexible with shifts and working schedules; 
• Ready to drive bike or e-bike to work; 
• Available to stay longer in the Netherlands minimum 6 months. 

Allowances:

In this position, you will have the following allowances:

25% for working on Monday to Friday between 8 PM and 12 AM;

50% for working on Monday to Saturday between 12 AM and 6 AM;

50% for working on Saturday between 6 PM and 12 AM;

100% for working on Sunday.
