Toolmaker for molding machines with experience (from 500€ net/week), in Netherlands

Our agency partner is looking for experienced toolmakers for their client in Nederweert, the Netherlands! If you would like to have a new adventure abroad, this can be your opportunity!

VDL Kunststoffen is a well-known company in the field of injection molding and produces various plastic injection molded components. They not only take care of production, but are also active in developing and designing new plastic components and systems. Feeding pans for stable equipment, parts for the automotive and the transport industry (including for postal sorting centers) also fall within their product range. Within a versatile working environment you will have plenty of room to develop yourself and grow.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Performing periodic and preventive maintenance on the company’s tools;
• Converting molds from one version to another;
• Carrying out repairs to defective molds;
• Optimizing and improving poorly running molds;
• Solving electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems with molds;
• Making adjustments to molds;
• Troubleshooting mold problems in production.

The agency provides:

• Long-time and stable job at a friendly company, with a chance of getting in direct contract with the client in case of good performance;
• Company car is provided (for 30€/week);
• Single bedroom accommodation in well-equipped shared houses;
• Day shifts only (from Monday to Friday), with the possibility to work on the weekends if needed;
• Chance to learn and grow by paid trainings (for example, Dutch language courses).

Requirements:

• CV in English with previous experience is required to apply for this position;
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar role is mandatory (preferably in the metal or plastic industry);
• Broad experience with assembling and disassembling tools;
• Relavant experience in turning, drilling/tapping, milling and grinding;
• Knowledge in Micro/Tig welding, or willingness to learn and improve;
• Experience with hot runner systems;
• Already in possession of a forklift certificate or willingness obtain one;
• Already in possession of a safe lifting certificate or willingness obtain one;
• Ready to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Availability to stay in The Netherlands for a long period of time.
