Our trusted agency partner is currently looking for experienced all-round mechanics to join their team in Groenlo, the Netherlands!
At Vion Food Group, you’ll have a very diverse set of tasks, and a plenty of opportunities for further development. You’ll play a crucial role at working with various types of machines, using a wide range of different techniques, including mechanical engineering, hydraulics, refrigeration technology and pneumatics.
In this role, your daily tasks include:
- Performing (preventive) maintenance, repairs and overhauls on the machines and intallations;
- Creating or modifying (parts of) machines, sometimes making necessary adjustments in technical drawings;
- Troubleshooting issues with machines and installations.
During your initial week, you will have:
- Three days of training at the company’s training center to get properly acquainted with the exact tasks and the work environment;
- Free accommodation, lunch, and beverages during training days;
- €20 net per day to cover your expenses for the week;
- Assistance in obtaining your Dutch citizen number (BSN), if needed.
The agency offers:
- Single bedroom accommodation in well-equipped shared houses;
- Company car and clothing provided;
- Guaranteed 40 hours/week in one-shift system on weekdays (in every two weeks, there’ll be an additional shift on Saturdays).
It’s a very clean environment, but candidates need to be ready to encounter slaughtered animals (pigs)!
Requirements:
- CV in English is required to apply for this position;
- At least 1 year of mechanic experience is mandatory;
- Demonstrable experience in electronics in mandatory;
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings will be considered a plus;
- Willingness to enhance your skills and commit to long-term employment;
- Proactive and cooperative attitude;
- Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
- Available to stay longer in the Netherlands.
