Level One Uitzendbureau is a rapidly growing organization specializing in hiring temporary workers, taking care of the remuneration system, and delegating the workforce. The company operates in various sectors, including wholesale, technology, business services, industry, agriculture, and horticulture.

Our partner is currently looking for experienced maintenance technicans to join their team in Steenwijk, the Netherlands!

Their Client is specialized in the circular economy. It operates a biomass-based heat and power plant, and is involved in recycling waste into new products. A significant part of their mission is to produce sustainable and eco-friendly energy and products.

In this role, your daily tasks include:

  • Keeping the machinery, buildings and installations in optimal condition;
  • Carring out corrective and preventive maintenance independently and in a team so that downtimes are minimized and malfunctions are resolved quickly;
  • Locating and solving complex malfunctions;
  • Initiating and contributing to improvements to the installations;
  • Providing ideas to optimize preventive maintenance;
  • Continuous adapting to a challenging environment in which quality, hygiene and safety come first.

You will work five days per week for a total of 40 hours.

The Agency has the possibility to offer single bedrooms to the candidates in two-person houses where they can live alone for 120EUR/week (kitchen, etc. can be shared) or in a shared room with other employee for 88EUR/week.

Working shoes are provided for free, but the Candidates have to bring their own working clothes

This is a long-term, full-time job offer with the opportunity to learn and grow.

Candidates need to be prepared to take an on-site test on the first day of work, to prove their skills.

Requirements:

  • CV in English is required to apply for this job;
  • Reference letter or valid contact details from a previous employer are mandatory;
  • At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician/ mechanic is mandatory;
  • Vast and proven knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating and steam systems;
  • Relevant education in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage;
  • VCA certificate is an advantage;
  • Certificate for aerial work platform and forklift truck is an advantage;
  • Flexibility and positive attitude
  • Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
  • Available to stay long-term in the Netherlands.
