CNC Operator OKUMA (550-560€ net/week), in Netherlands

Since 1966, the Dutch company Wouter Witzel has been an international leader. They develop and produce a wide range of high-quality industrial butterfly valves and accessories. The products are used in pipelines as shut-off valves, control valves, and non-return valves.

Our partner is currently looking for CNC operators to join their team in Losser, the Netherlands!

As a CNC operator, you will be responsible for operating and setting up all machines in the department (conventional and CNC) to process products according to technical drawings and guidelines and adapting existing CNC programs to the specific situation.

Your other duties may include the following:

• Using CNC machines to perform machining operations on valves and parts;
• Performing conventional operations;
• Setting up, stretching, and operating CNC machines and conventional machines according to the guidelines;
• Adjusting the program if necessary;
• Checking the supplied material, the machining process, and the executed operations for quality using the material list;
• Reporting deviations in the measurements to the cooperating foreman;
• Maintaining and cleaning the machines;
• Taking care of the workplace.

Requirements:

• CV in English is required to apply for this position;
• Completed education in a relevant field is mandatory;
• At least one year of proven, previous experience is needed;
• Knowledge of Okuma system is madatory;
• Good knowledge and experience in machining (conventional / CNC) materials, tools, and clamping techniques;
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings and making measurements;
• Flexible to work in other production departments;
• Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Available to stay longer in the Netherlands.

Allowances:

Shift bonus: 17.5% per hour worked.
