Production employee, Nieuwegein, in Holland

Our client, Caldic, is looking for production employees to join their team in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands!

Now, they deliver innovative and sustainable offerings in life sciences and speciality chemicals for the food, pharmaceutical, personal care, and industrial sectors through their global network.

You will work in a new warehouse where products are mixed and placed in paper bags in a dusty environment due to the powder, and you will receive training in various areas of production to ensure flexibility, primarily working alongside a colleague.

Main Responsibilities

• Fill paper bags with the product and seal them (bags can weigh up to 25 kg);
• Place filled bags on pallets for colleagues to transport further;
• Monitor the production line and operate it independently;
• Clean the production line independently;
• Complete all associated checklists in English;
• Sample products according to instructions;
• Perform LOTOTO procedures independently (secure the line for maintenance/cleaning);
• Follow instructions for mixing or grinding processes;
• Conduct required quality checks;
• Clean the machine’s interior weekly with a colleague;
• Support packaging tasks;
• Other related tasks.

The starting salary for this position is €13.71 gross/hour + 8.33% holiday allowance, which totals €14.85 per hour. This is a long-term and full-time job offer.

The morning shift is paid at 100% and working hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 16:00 and Friday from 07:00 to 13:00, while the late shift is compensated at 125% and working hours are Monday to Thursday from 15:30 to 23:30 and Friday from 12:30 to 20:30.

Employees who can work independently on one or more production lines may earn extra pay:

• Blender line: +€ 0.50 per hour
• Two or more blender lines: +€ 0.75 per hour
• One grinding line: +€ 0.75 per hour
• One blender line + one grinding line: +€ 1.00 per hour

Other Allowances

• 25% time window surcharge for shift 2 (hours 00:00 to 24:00) from Monday to Friday
• 50% time window surcharge for standard hours on Saturday
• 100% time window surcharge for standard hours on Sunday

Requirements
