Arvato our client in the Netherlands of the biggest logistics companies is searching for new staff, with the motivation to work in different logistics-related job positions.

Arvato is a logistics company offering supply chain management in the form of business-to-business and business-to-client all over the world. Their warehouses have multiple departments: Electronics. Cosmetics and Medicine.

Warehouse workers at Arvato will perform the following tasks:

  • Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, by loading and unloading palettes;
  • Picking and packing orders, according to customers’ lists, from stock, using a scanner or chart;
  • Box and pack the merchandise by relevant procedures and standards and prepare all orders for shipment, placing orders in the delivery area;
  • Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type;
  • Quality controlling of the goods, managing all impaired or damaged merchandise items;
  • Following safety standards when using machinery;
  • Keeping the work area clean and organized.

It’s a long-term job offer. Working days are usually Monday to Friday but you should be flexible according to the working schedule as it might be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays. 

There are two possible locations: Heijen Oostrum.

Candidates will have to take an English test on the introduction day onsite. Please note: in Arvato you can only wear jeans. Plain jeans, no holes or extra stuff, color preferred blue.

When you start work within 6 weeks you will have to provide VOG (criminal record), the coordinator will help with this.

Requirements:

  • A CV in English is needed to apply for this job;
  • Experience in warehouse work is not mandatory, but it’s a plus;
  • VOG- criminal record from home country is needed after arrival;
  • Take blue jeans for work uniform; 
  • Team player and be able to work independently;
  • Good organizational and time-management skills;
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Problem solver;
  • Availability to stay in the Netherlands for a long period (minimum 6 months).

Allowances:

After 19.00h: 35% allowance

After 00.00-until 6.00h: 45% allowance

6.00-7.00h: 35% allowance

Saturday: +50% allowance

Sunday: +100% allowance +100% allowance on official state holidays.

Above 40 hours: 25% or 50% extra paid.
